Driver Training and/or DMV Road Test
- Driver training is conducted in one of our cars with a Certified Driving Instructor. The sessions are one-on-one, only you and the instructor will be in the car during your session. Arrangements can be made to pick you up for your driving session. Training sessions are tailored to fit the driver. The instructor may recommend additional sessions if he or she feels you are not ready for the DMV Road Test.
- The DMV Road Test can be administered once you have held your permit for at least 181 days.
Teen/Adult Driving Course
- The teen/adult driving course includes the DMV Permit Test (if needed; test will be administered during class), an eight-hour class in our classroom, six hours of behind-the-wheel training (conducted in two three-hour sessions) and the DMV road test. The road test will be administered after the student has held his/her permit for at least 181 days.
- Classroom portion consists of instruction, numerous videos on the dangers of drunk/distracted (texting) driving, and an opportunity to test their skills with the “drunk goggles.” These specialty goggles simulate how the motor skills of an individual with various B.A.C. (blood alcohol concentration) would be without having the alcohol affect their brain.
- Lunch is provided and students only need to bring their permit to class. If your teen does not have his/her permit, the DMV Permit Test can be administered during class.
- Click the “Register for Class Now” button below to register for the driving course. There is a $50 deposit required to register and hold your spot in class.
Disclaimer: Deposit is non-refundable and only valid for 60 days from the date of class you selected at time of registration. Deposit may be moved to another class date, a maximum of 3 times.
Hourly Training
- If you feel your teen needs more one-on-one behind-the-wheel training after their two three-hour sessions, those are offered by one of our certified driving instructors at an hourly rate.
- A test refresher is also offered. The test refresher is a one-hour practice session to refresh your knowledge and skills right before the road test.
